ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Lance Eliot Adams (Founder / Filmmaker) has been making films for over ten years. He has made over 20 short films (through Bridgeport Film Club) and worked on films with a number of colleagues in Chicago. Two of his horror short screenplays (Jelly Doughnut of Evil & Sweet Tooth Boogeyman) have done well in over ten horror festivals. Two of his feature screenplays (Is This Thing On? and we all fall down, both co-written with Sean Patrick Leonard) have done well on the festival circuit including becoming a second rounder at Austin Film Festival and Best Comedy Screenplay (for Is This Thing On?) at Austin Revolution Film Festival.
He is involved with the Chicago Filmmaking community by running Chicago Film Club, which hosts two monthly meet ups for local filmmakers. He is also involved in the Chicago Independent Filmmaker Symposium which aims to foster collaboration between all of the different Chicago filmmaking groups.
Check out some of his previous work with Bridgeport Film Club.
Hunger&Dread was founded from a need to tell great stories which induce dread in the viewer. We wanted a simple name like Hammer films. We are inspired by good storytelling in horror films and practical effects.
We are currently in development for a horror anthology movie with Walking Through Darkness being an initial film in the project’s production.
